Jessica has taken an instantly recognisable object, the babies' bottle teat, and created it in solid cast glass. The glass teats have been mounted on a wooden strip and turned into coat-pegs giving a new purpose for the shape thus commenting on their original function and the function of the female breast. It becomes quite disturbing to see a glass teat as the dangers associated with both the material and the original purpose of a teat becomes apparent.
